Working towards a sustainable environment, Decathlon created a holiday gift wrap, reusable for workouts.

As Christmas presents are often quite trivial and without any long lasting effect, sports retailer Decathlon wanted to promote sports articles as the ideal gift for Christmas. The sports retailer developed a gift wrap, fully reusable for workouts. The new wrap not only encourages people to sport, but becomes part of the workout as well. It consists out of a sweat absorbing wrap and an elastic ribbon. Both made out of the same materials Decathlon uses in their own products. The Sportable Gift Wrap was launched just before Christmas, in Decathlon’s newly opened flagship store in Brussels. Both national and international press got wrapped up in the idea and it inspired a global audience. As a result, Decathlon is working hard to roll out the gift wrap in stores around the world.
